Traffic Light Cards

It would be a big mistake to think that at this price the trick can't be any good! It is the little things that often amaze the most. You have the advantage that you can always have this pocket trick with you: You show two black plastic cards that are in clear and thus transparent protective sleeves. One of the cards has a red, a yellow and a green dot firmly stuck on it, just like a traffic light. The other card has no dots! You show the cards from the front and from the back, then ask a spectator to hold out his or her hands. Without any manipulation, you place one card face down on each of the spectator's palms. A quick snap of your fingers, then the spectator turns the cards over and is amazed to see that the green dot has moved to the previously empty card, while only the red and yellow dots are still on the other card. Immediately you can have everything examined.
