You show the audience three round, noble metal tubes that are closed with a screw cap. All three are shaken briefly to demonstrate that nothing is hidden inside. Now unscrew the lid from one of these tubes, insert a small metal bolt and close it again. If you now shake this tube, it rattles loudly and clearly audibly. Now the demonstration of an idiosyncratic "three tube monte" begins: You change the position of the tubes and the spectators have to guess where the one with the bolt is. I'll be brief.
