Voodoo Gimmick
Voodoo magic has its origin in a cult practiced in West Africa. Little dolls were used to heal sick people, later, the Voodoo evil spell magic developed from this. It is supposed to work as follows: you stab a doll or a picture drawn of someone, and the person whom you wish to harm feels pain in the very spot that the doll or picture has been stabbed. Superstition or reality? You risk an experiment: Ask a spectator to draw the contours of a hand on a piece of paper, mark a finger at random (without any prompting) and burn the paper. You put your hand in the flame, cry out and show them that a large blister has formed on your finger. The blister is real, can be closely examined and is not stuck on or caused by chemicals or similar substances. Easy and without any risk for yourself, very effective and amazing for the audience. What use, however, is a blister on your sensitive fingers to you? Does it make sense? You go even further: You have someone draw a playing card, its...

You go even further: You have someone draw a playing card, its value is noted down on a piece of paper. The note is folded, then burnt. You put your hand in the flame, cry out and now have blisters on your thumb and index finger, which show exactly the value of the card drawn. Again, totally without risk to yourself, amazing and effective for the audience. Between you and me: The blister disappears by itself after a while or immediately, if you so wish. The blister literally dissolves into thin air.
With our universal gimmick you can not only make a normal blister appear on any finger you wish, but also different card values or an ESP symbol in the form of a blister.
