Here's a treat for fans of fine teak props! In addition to the beautiful finish, the amazing double effect is also captivating:

The spectator receives two solid blocks of wood (approx. 45 mm edge length), one made of lighter-coloured wood, the other of slightly darker wood. Apart from a hole drilled right through the cubes, nothing is visible.

The spectator examines the cubes, freely chooses one and inserts a solid, examined metal rod through the cube. Let's assume that the spectator has chosen the lighter-coloured cube. The magician then shows a tube, which can also be examined. The threaded cube is now placed in the tube from above, with the metal rod protruding clearly to the left and right.

The tube has two circular cut-outs at the front and back so that the impaled cube is clearly visible.

The second, darker cube in our example is placed on top of the light-coloured, impaled cube.

The whole thing is now covered with an elegant, solid tube.

A second later, the impaled, light-coloured cube is freed from the rod and lies at the bottom of the tube, while the darker cube is now impaled on the metal rod.

Everything can be examined again immediately.
