Forcing Dice Set Professional ☆NEW☆
With this set the most incredible things are possible: You mark six paper cups with the numbers 1–6. Under one cup (let’s assume the cup marked 3) a spectator places a nail on a small wooden board, point upwards. You now have a spectator roll the die and you smash the cup showing that number. First maybe the cup with “one”, then the “six”, the “two”, the “four”. Now only the cups with “three” and “five” remain. Tension rises — will the magician’s hand be pierced forever if the next roll is a “three” and the magician must strike the cup hiding the nail? You can guess the outcome: the spectator rolls a “five” and your hand remains unharmed. A “reverse bank-night effect” can also be presented to great effect and differs strongly from the usual presentation. Normally the spectator always loses against the magician because they pick empty envelopes while the last one contains the prize for the magician. Here it works the other way round! You display six envelopes labelled 1–6. The...

The spectator may keep rolling until only one envelope with their prize remains. They roll for the first time: the eliminated envelope is opened and a card appears saying: “You would have won a Ferrari if this had been the last envelope.” You comment dryly, “But who needs a Ferrari without a catalytic converter?” The second envelope reveals a yacht: “You would have won if that had been the last envelope.” “But going to sea every weekend just to potter about would be tedious.” The next envelope contains an aeroplane: “In bad weather and on an icy runway that becomes dangerous quickly.” In the fourth envelope there is a house: “You’ll be glad you didn’t win that — the roof isn’t properly insulated and the heating bills are far too high.” In the penultimate envelope there is a picture of a gold bar: “Thank God you didn’t get that — imagine how annoyed you’d be if the price of gold falls again.” Tension rises, because the spectator now naturally wants to receive the prize in the last envelope. With trembling fingers you open the envelope and hand over their consolation prize. In a standard show I actually sacrifice a five pound note and give it to the spectator. With a reasonable fee this is easily acceptable, and for the audience it’s an aha moment when someone actually wins something. At a birthday party, wedding etc., where you might want to make the present appear, it’s a good idea to write the gift on a card (the actual present the celebrant will then receive) and have that carried into the room. All these effects are made possible by our special forcing-dice set. It consists of a total of nine dice. With each of six prepared dice one particular face (1–6) can be prevented from coming up. In addition there is one blank die, one ordinary (unprepared) die and one die with ESP symbols. The examples above illustrate the kinds of effects possible. Once you hold the dice in your hands you’ll think of many further uses. Think of mental routines, forcing a colour where colour boards are numbered, and so on. We supply the dice set only. Make the envelopes, nail board etc. yourself! If you enjoy the macabre, the dice are suitable for any kind of “Russian roulette”! A toned down version is also possible: place an egg in an egg cup under one paper cup and smash the cups one by one, leaving the cup with the egg intact until the last.
