The devil's hank was originally designed to make small items such as keys, playing cards or finger rings disappear. To do this, the four corners of the cloth were simply lifted up to form a small bag. The item was thrown into the bag, the hank was shaken out – and whatever had been put in there was gone. However, there was one major problem: it was impossible for the magician to control the item. Once it was gone, it was gone and could only reappear after the performance – you know what we mean! Thanks to an ingeniously simple (or simply ingenious) improvement, there is now a practical way to control the item and make it reappear elsewhere. You read that right: first, the small object is made to disappear as described. However, you remain in control of it at all times. You can shake out the cloth and show both sides, but at the same time you secretly hold the ring etc. in your hand so that you can make it reappear elsewhere. Our ‘magic salt shaker’ is ideal for this.

We offer the Devil's Hank Extra Large. Made from a slightly thicker fabric (acetate silk/satin) and measuring 70x70 cm! Even heavier objects won't bulge, giving you an elegant way to make everyday items disappear without any conspicuous magic props, only with a folded cloth.
