Like any card trick, this one starts with you letting someone draw cards from a well-shuffled deck. It doesn't matter whether they draw one, two or three. It also doesn't matter whether you use Bicycle cards for adults or quartet, picture or Harry Potter magic cards for children. The cards are drawn freely, no forcing is necessary!

As with any card trick, the cards are put into the pack and the magician has to find them again. But he can't.

Now it's Paula's big moment – Paula is a wooden duck trained to find playing cards. The deck of cards is placed in the food bowl. As soon as you put your fingers near the dangerous duck's beak, it happens: the duck stretches its neck and pinches your finger hard. This provides an opportunity for comedy! A clear warning, the duck stretches forward, pecks and has the first card in its beak. Applause – it's the right one, of course!

A second attempt – this card is also unerringly and lightning-fast pulled from the deck of cards stuck in the food bowl with just one peck from the wooden duck!

Now comes the climax: the wooden duck is blindfolded! Nevertheless, it manages to fish the third spectator card out of the deck with its beak in a flash. Applause, applause.

It's just embarrassing that you accidentally turn the duck over and a large hole in the blindfold is revealed. So the duck has obviously cheated a little. This will get you the laughs, but you're also sure to earn the admiration of the audience!
